Jabon is back at the Checkeboard tonite in Hyde Park. They've been going strong since late last year and have been creating a buzz. I'm seeing a lot of activity on their websites, myspace, etc. As a matter of fact if you do a google search of "Jabon Jazz" or even add Chicago to it, they are all over the place.
Lots of curious potential fans lurking around. I'm beginning to get calls from folks wanting to come out to see them perform. Because I am a techy, I am always tracking the activity on their sites and they are getting 1,000's of clicks per week. Anticipating of the new CD is swelling. Music is available on numerous sites across the web, and of course, their new CD "Room 322" will be available in retailers nationwide in the near future. For jazz enthusiasts who haven't checked out their tunes yet, you're really in for a treat. You can listen to their music on their myspace - http://www.myspace.com/jabonmusicchicago. We are hoping to get companies who are interested in sharing exposure with our fan base (Adult Contemporary Market) and perhaps partnering with us to do some kool promos early this summer.
